We were in Ilfracombe over Easter and all restaurants were packed. We went to Take Thyme just because we didn't have other choice. However, the seafood we had was so fresh and delish! The waitress was friendly and helpful. There is one minor thing to say that the accompanied veges with our seafood were unfortunately just boiled and bland.

Recommend by locals this is all ways a good place to start. a warm friendly restaurant set the scene for a relaxed atmosphere the fish that I had. Hake was most enjoyable and the waitress warm and attentive we had a few glasses of wine and left. feeling very pleased with our choice and look forward to our next visit.

We were recommended this restaurant by locals.Although some fish dishes were slightly expensive this was not an issue as all food dishes were well cooked n presented nicely. The head waiteress was. bubbly and chatty. A great little restaurant with a comy atmosphere. Will definately visit again esp when Jon Dory is on the menu
