Had been looking forward to visiting having heard it was good. The staff were friendly, but the service was slow. The food was ok, but have to say have had better. Can't say it would appear on my list of places to visit again.

We have been here on a few occasions and it never disappoints. Staff are friendly and attentive and the food is always of a high standard and at a reasonable price. Highly recommended .
The first impression I got was of a labyrinth of corridors that were very cold. It was May 2013 and we were still in the grip of a very cold spell of weather. Called in after setting up our caravan on a very windy night and were in need of sustenance. Excellent menu with lots of fish dishes made from locally caught fish. Food is priced fairly for freshly cooked fayre rather than trying to compete with the cheap fast food available anywhere. We need more independent eating places like the two mile...

Deceptively small from the outside, this was a typical country pub, busy, friendly and the food was certainly value for money. The busy bar showed how popular this pub is, even though it is not surrounded by housing. Hope to visit again.

We had a lovely meal here last Thursday! I had garlic mushrooms followed by fish pie and both were lovely!! Easily the best fish pie I've ever had!! Very yummy!! Very reasonably priced too! Will definitely go back if in the area again!
If you have a hound, this is the place to eat. Bill for four (3 courses each plus drinks) was a little over £100 and very good value with a varied menu. Excellent food and great service. Dog was given a window box seat with cushion for head, dog biscuits and a sausage ! Would thoroughly recommend.
