I think we were unfortunate as it was a very quiet night and everything had been sitting under the hot lamps for a while. The chips were a bit hard and the fish was a bit dry. The staff were very friendly though and they make their own fantastic sauces (tartare, garlic mayo etc).

Visited with kids and parents for eat in fish and chips whilst in Grange. Very friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. We all went for fish and chips with mushy peas which was excellent. We would certainly eat here again if in the area.

A very clean chippy with a very friendly atmosphere. From the minute you walk in you are greeted with a smile and made to feel welcome. The "eat in" section is excellent, offering the full menu as you would expect. We have eaten here twice in the last week - one of which was a takeaway and got the same... More

If you thinking of fish and chips or similar in Grange then we would say go and sit down in the cafe....having eaten there on a number of occasions and used the takeaway service, we would always go for eating in....

We both had haddock and chips, batter could have been better. Chips were very good, portions were generous. Very friendly service, and very clean.

To celebrate the running of the Cartmel Valley Jubillee Duck Race, we ordered 29 fish and chips and 27 mushy peas. As soon as I arrived the cooking and packing line lept into operation. A short drive back to Field Broughton and a few minutes later, everyone was tucking in. I don't think there was anything left on any plates... More

Encouraged by the TripAdvisor reviews we bought take-away fish and chips. The fish was freshly cooked and looked great. The chips were served in polystyrene trays with the fish on top and all wrapped in white and then news paper. When we got them home (5 min trip) and opened them up we were immediately surprised that the fish batter... More

Ate in on the cafe side one day and had take away chips another day. Nice fish & chip shop, which is just as well as its the only one in Grange. Seemed popular with the locals too. Its closed Mondays.

We met some friends here whilst at a geocaching event in town, grange itself is a bit short of eating places in an evening.as the weayher was great we joined many other people around the bandstand in the park, we all enjoyed the fish and chips very much. We thought it was very good value, there was certainly a decent... More
