The family visited to celebrate my mum's 80th birthday and from the moment we walked in the door we were treated like royalty. Wonderful ambience and attentive staff but not overly so, just quietly efficient. The food was just as good as the service, beautifully cooked and presented and a pianist playing in the background. I have no hesitations in... More

My Husband and I recently had dinner here! The Restaurant is very bright and welcoming. The waiters are very attentive an efficient. I had fillet steak which was cooked to perfection, it was served with vegetables and a creamy pepper sauce, lovely! My Husband, however was disappointed with His Pasta Marinara, he asked if there was a variety of fish... More

Called in here to try their pizzas and was very impressed with our meal.Started with a mozzarella and tomato salad and then had a pepperoni pizza, both of which were excellent and the portion size was good. It was early in the evening and about half of the tables were occupied the place had a nice buzz about it ,staff were... More

Once again Boccaccio never fails.... Had the most beautiful lasagne and my husband had the swordfish ravioli. Both dishes were fantastic great atmosphere with pianist playing in the background. Restaurant was quite busy but still the service didn't falter. Boccaccio has to be my favourite Italian restaurant hence we go back time after time.

We arrived early around 6.30pm and were the only diners in the rather large restaurant so atmosphere was seriously lacking, however during the next hour, parties began arriving and it was clear from the welcome given to some diners that this restaurant has a loyal following in Wakefield. The interior is pleasant, typical Italian, lots of marble and pillar features,... More

Having left it very late to find somewhere to eat on Mothers Day, we reserved a table at Boccaccio. We didn't expect too much - just a standard Italian. However, we were really pleased with the restaurant. The food was excellent and the atmoshpere was great - they had a pianist playing throughout our meal - which apparantly happens every... More

We went for my birthday the waiter was friendly, the food had good portion size and tasted great, and after telling them it was my B-day we got a free round of shots. It's very good value costing just over £100 for 6 people, would definitely go again.
