Booked a table with some friends and everyone( 6 in total) enjoyed it. The special nan bread is very good as is the service. Would recommend that you book as it gets quite busy

We are regular visitors and have been for a number of years. The menu is interesting and varied, the tandoori trout starter is amazing. The best thing is if a group of four order four different dishes they all arrive looking different as opposed to a lot of places where the use the same stock sauce for everything. Portions are...

We had a lovely meal here on Saturday night. It was very busy but the food was superb. Would highly recommend this place and they also have a good wine list which is reasonable priced.
Food is fantastic, staff are very friendly and the restaurant is immaculate. My partner and I go every week with family would not go anywhere else now.
This is without doubt the best Indian restaurant in the area. It is very clean with a cosy but modern feel to it. The food is excellent, we eat here all the time and have never been disappointed. The curry's are not just bits of meat with a cheap sauce plopped on top like most takeaways and some restaurants, in...

I have been to this restaurant many time the food is always the best there... and now with the new decor it is a total different atmosphere. We booked a party for 15. Everone loved the food and at the end with the lights off and the birthday cake out just finished the night off in style. ..
The star of Akbars is a professional service made for customers who loves indian foods as much as we do. I recommend this indian restaurant and it's customer service experience. I enjoyed the cheese and garlic naan bread as it was professionally made.

Although the staff did make efforts to phone around their customers, they left it up to the customer whether or not they wanted to risk attending. We went on the hope that the gas line would...

its easy to find on the A66 near Darlington. A great choice of curries and sides. If you are not sure they will make some suggestions according to your taste. They also do take away but pre order as they can be very busy and you may need to wait but it is worth the wait
