My partner remembers how his mum prepared fried bread dough when he was a kid several decades ago. At skydsstasjon you have the option to get a warm one called klappkake. The place is very popular, It offers typical Norwegian seasonal dishes. The atmosphere is cozy and a one of its kind.

Excellent salmon home-made soup!! I have never met such nice staff like in this restaurant. The house is full of history and old-fashioned furniture. I can recommend this place and their home-made food. Usually full of people.

This eatery serves traditional dishes from the region, which also includes Bacalao a la Vizcaina from a recipe from the hostess' grandmother. Very informal and homely

The food was very good but because of the crowd (apparently due to its fame) we waited quite a long time for service. Fortunately the proprietress was very friendly, so we weren't annoyed.

Lovely old building, dressed up with an old world feel, busy with tourists, cosy tables, limited menu but nice selection, not too priicey, very casual, time taken to speak to customers, which is good to see.

This is more of a cafe than a restaurant where the order is placed and paid for at the till. The rickety building is very charming and the reindeer stew was tasty.
