A bit pricey, but that's true for all restaurants in Norway. Food was excellent - I recommend the spare ribs, and my other half thoroughly enjoyed the catch of the day, halibut.

The restaurant is expensive and serves small portions. My pepper steak was fine but the bbq-sauce way too sweet and the spinach way too salty. Our dessert (baked pears with citrus sorbet and fruits) was too sweet as well. Usually we are very tolerant about restaurant meals but this time it really crossed our limits.

We had dinner here on our one night in Bodo. It was pretty quiet so we were fine without a booking. The restaurant is in a lovely waterside location and the interior is quire pleasant. I really liked the service - which was very good and very pleasant - but particularly because they went out of their way to make...

This restaurant is worth a visit, the food is very good. The location by the harbour is one of the best in town.

Try reker i.e. platter of fresh prawns with aquavit. Delicious!
Liked: Basic, freshly prepared and tasty servings based on local ingredients (fish, shrimps, ...) Disliked: Speed of service (it was a busy evening), pricing (however this is more a comment to pricing in Norway in general which is outrageous).
Our hotel staff recommended another popular restaurant in Bodo, but we decided against eating there when we saw the sushi and pizza menu.
We walked around for a while and came across Bryggerikaia. All the tables were booked, but we were given the option of sitting at a small round table near the bar. The restaurant was packed and noisy...
