Food was delicious, tasty and of high quality. To emphasize especially the willing of the owner lady to know exactly how hot each one would like his dish to be. A sauce served as part of the beginning snack served for precise calibration of this. We felt it was really important for them to serve each one with the exact... More

Visited after searching for good reasonably priced Indian in Vienna. The restaurant is out the way (takes a special detour to get there away from the metro lines) and is quite small with seating for max. 25 people. Starters ranged from 5-9 euro, with Mulligatawny soup being acceptable. Mains were quite good although portions medium and prices upto 28 euro.... More

I always come here when my dad is visiting, we love great Indian food and this place has it. Friendly, family-run business and good service. We will come back again!

Demi-Tass restaurant claims to be the "best Indian restaurant in town"; I saw the advertisement by the platform of the U4 underground train station. Therefore I decided to go and test to see if it was true. My verdict is that it is only one of the best indian restaurant in town... there are others which are equally good. Anyway,... More

As last year, we had our New Years night dinner at Demi Tass. Perfect starters and the best chicken Tikka Masala you can imagine. But makes this restaurant so special is the cosy atmosphere. Family owned and just 10 tables. Location is about 15 minutes walk from the center in an embassy district. If you want to have perfect indian... More

It is a little off the usual tourist routes but well worth a short walk to find. Demi Tass is not a typical Indian curry house but a fine-dinning Indian food restaurant. It offers a modern Indian cuisine where the food is authentic and fresh. My favourites are Chicken Tikka (as apetizer), Chicken Makhani (butter chicken) with basmatic rice and... More

After all reading the raving reviews of this place, we went to try it out with some friends, but I have to say the reviews are very overrated. The food and service are okay, but nothing more than that, especially considering the steep prices and the relatively small portions. And how dare they charge ?1.50 per person just for setting... This isn't India or the UK and still the meal was worth every euro and just what I needed. The restaurant is very pleasant, food good and service friendly. They are worth a visit, may even be going back tomorrow.

Trying different Indian restaurants in Vienna, I must say Demi is the best in all respects. It is run by a couple trained in International Hotel Industry and run this restaurant up to the top standard. Food is extremely good and so is the service. I visited this restaurant very often with my business partners and it had always been... More
