The food was very good and it was nice to try such different cuisine. There is seating inside and outside, and the location (just off Getreidegasse) is great.

loved it here! food, coffee, tea.. all good! I can recommend the salads. Only bad things are that staff and serivce could be friendlier and a bit quicker but seeing as its very busy and small it balances out a little bit (hard to find a table). overall a cool chill spot to hang out at for coffee or tea.

We ate here with a group of 8 - everyone loved their food. Good salads, and they guys loved the wrap sandwich. Lots of coffee and hot chocolate and teas and other drink choices. Great atmosphere. And the icing on the cake? Free wifi. This was one of the only places we ate over 5 days in Austria that had... More

The food is great, the beer is great, the atmosphere is great, and the service is great. What more do you need? I loved it, especially the music piped in to the lavatories. It's set up lounge style with free wifi.

Afro Cafe is a great place for lunch or dinner if you're looking for something different. The choice is good and everything is tasty. We were 4 people and shared everything we ordered so we could try more. We had a salad with goat or sheep cheese, big and full of ingredients. We also had falafel which was my least... More

We came across this cafe by chance - it is at the far west of the Old Town but is well worth a visit. We had a friendly welcome to a cafe which was comfortably full. Service was a little slow but the coffee and snacks were delicious. On several tables people were having full breakfast. All the coffee is... More

Funky cafe near the heart of town. Lots of variety and healthy, tasty menu items. Really enjoyed their large selection of tea mixtures, and the pineapple chicken wrap was fantastic.

The Afro Cafe is first class for food, atmosphere and interior design. This cafe is one of the several businesses Red Bull giant Dietrich Mateschitz owns in Salzburg. So naturally the staff feels a sort of pride and arogance to be working there. This hurtful for business. Lighten up, make some conversation, bring in your personality. However, like I said... More

Funky cafe with bright decor and friendly staff. Did us a DIY Irish coffee as it was not on the menu which was nice. Reasonable prices and. a pleasant way to take a break from all the sight seeing in the old town

The moka was fantastic...more turkish style coffee with cardamom instead of the syrupy chocolate version usually served. well worth the trip on its own and I wish I lived close enough to go more often!
