The Grandfather (sorry I couldn't remember the name) at Liza's place totally made our day when we stopped for a lunch in November. He told us a few stories and shared some of the experiences of the years he spent working for the Forestry Commision. What a sparky and happy soul! Visited this taverna for the 1st time in 2010 having spent the last 17 years in the local area, the welcome, food and hospitality were first class and we look forward to visiting again in 2011.

I could write a full review, but one is not needed except to say wonderfully authentic with bucket loads of family friendliness to all.
