Lovely girl, can't remember her name, but she runs the place and knows what's she's doing. Our meal was excellent, and reasonably priced too. Perfect place to go after a play at St James too.

We visited both the bistro and the wine bar and both impressed us. Chris is a great host and took time to recommend the best food and wine for us. We were surprised and impressed at the range and quality of Maltese wines and what good value! In a city where everything seems to shut down after 7pm Trabuxu was...

I visited Trabuxu for a nice wine & cheese night and the platters are amazing albeit a tad pricey. However, on the whole, we had a nice experience and they have a very versatile wine list. It is a bit difficult to find a table but I would still recommend this wine bar for anyone looking for a nice ralixing...

great wine bar for a snack and a good glass of wine in the evening
Small restaurant run by such pleasant folk - happily produced vegetarian courses for one of our group. The standard menu is small, freshly produced and very good - wash it down with the local wine ! Pity was we didn't go here until the holiday was nearly over - otherwise it would have been the daily choice.
Great atmosphere, food and service. A bit pricey but worth it. Their wine bar in Straight St also worth trying, great Maltese platter.
This is the place in Malta to have cheese fondue & a good bottle of wine :-) delicious
Meal and evening in the wine bar was first class.Tasty food, good wine selection and excellent service. The Bistro was even better and the Spanish host, a rugby lover from the Basque country, was most passionate in providing good food and wine. The Rib Eye steak was excellent and so was the Argentian Pinot Noir.Good atmosphere and highly recommended.
Great choice for anyone looking for a cosy wine bar and a relaxed environment. Platters are nice and daily specials are an added bonus.
