The perlan is a fantastic find! You can see it from all over the city and it is the highest point on Reykjavik so the views from the terrace are amazing! The revolving restaurant is great, you can watch the sun set (well, almost as it doesnt get that dark in May!) and you can see a 360 degree view... More

Sat on top of six huge storage tanks is the glass dome which is the location of this restaurant. A unique location with views over Reykavik and beyond which pass by as the dining area slowly revolves. We had been out walking and made a last minute reservation. The staff were very welcoming and didn't seem to mind that we... More

I had an excellent meal with a group of business people in this restaurant and the whole experience was very good. The people I was with are not easily impressed, but they were pulling up their cameras to take pictures of the structure as soon as we entered the building. We all chose the 4 course menu and the food... More

Had a fantastic meal here recently with friends. Was a little concerned this maybe quite touristy and focus more on the revolving restaurant rather than the quality of food - our concern was unfounded and all aspects of the meal were very good. The view is outstanding and a complete revolution takes approx 2 hours so you should see all... More

The Perlan is an excellent restaurant with fantastic views of Reykjavik as you eat. The seating area rotates and completes a full circle in 2hrs. The lobster soup is to die for and all the food is very good, with excellent service. Cost approx £50 per person if you have the set menu and wine. There is a lounge a... More

When taking out foreign guests for their first time in the country I think Perlan is the place. Lately Perlan has been offering a good 4 course menu with very good prices and the best view in Reykjavik! I would recommend it and enjoy the great view with great food and good service.

this place has excellent views, a lovely atmosphere and very good service. Its quite pricey but not too bad. The food had its high and its lows. We were given some lovely bread and our water was kept topped up constantly. The amouse bouche of local fish was beautiful. I really enjoyed my lobster tails and broth starter ir was... More

The view is spactacular, the food and the sevice is very nice. The price is a bit higher than average but not to much. This is my favorite resturant around the holidays.

My wife and I had dinner at Perlan on our first night in Reykjavik. The setting was wonderful and the views were fantastic. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We opted for the four course "tasting menu" which we could not fault. The second course was lobster soup with lobster tails, but when the waiter brought our bowls they... More

Shame we went when there was no view because of weather. Food was just about ok but obviously too much prepared too far in advance. Service hit and miss with some surliness and duplication. Will go back to Cafe for lunch and view but not the restaurant.
