When taking out foreign guests for their first time in the country I think Perlan is the place. Lately Perlan has been offering a good 4 course menu with very good prices and the best view in Reykjavik! I would recommend it and enjoy the great view with great food and good service.

The view is spactacular, the food and the sevice is very nice. The price is a bit higher than average but not to much. This is my favorite resturant around the holidays.

Shame we went when there was no view because of weather. Food was just about ok but obviously too much prepared too far in advance. Service hit and miss with some surliness and duplication. Will go back to Cafe for lunch and view but not the restaurant.
