Our food was amazing: creative, beautiful on the plate, well-matched yet inventive flavors. Service was efficient, friendly and professional. The space is definitely contemporary Nordic with a panoramic view of Reykjavik. We highly recommend Dill.

This restaurant undoubtedly turns out some very skilled cooking and we experienced the odd dazzling dish within the 5 course menu but overall we did not particularly enjoy Dill. The food is extremely fresh, utilises high quality local produce and the chef aims to intrigue and challenge the palate with his Icelandic take on Nordic cuisine. You have the option... More

Due to the reviews we decided to go for a last night extravagance & it did live up to all expectations-impeccable sevice, food to savour every mouthful & well matched wine. This obvously all comes at a price & I think even only the 3 course menu with wine came to £150 for the both of us but if you are... We were lucky to get the last table on a Saturday night. The food was out of this world - fresh, beautifully and perfectly cooked, and sensational combinations. This was simply the best meal - and dining out experience- we have had for a very, very long time, and we eat at some great restaurants. Service was charming and faultless,... More

We had a stunning meas with wine pairings, served by an knowledgable and friendly waiter. It was expensive, but absolute value. Restaurants in Reykjavik are ALL expensive, but this one is truly worth it.

I am not a seafood fan...in fact, I am well known for wrinkling my nose at the smell of fish and seafood and for eating only salad at dinners when fish is the main event. That being said, I think you can appreciate fully the full impact of the above title and the following statement: I LOVED THIS MEAL! My... More

Dill Restaurant is located in the Nordic House in Reykjavik next to a nature preserve. The restaurant is modern and warm, the service attentive and very knowlegeable. We ate there during the Food and Fun event and were fortunate to be able to taste the menu from the winning chef. This was a 4 course tasting menu and we opted... More

This restaurant is located in the Nordic House and has a very limited menu of very innovative and well prepared food. You can have a 3, 4, or 5 course dinner which they select for you and you can also have a wine paring. There were three different amuse bouche served before the start of the meal - each quite... The best in Reykjavik. Fantastic menu. Great flavours. We had the 7 course tasting menu. The bread and butters was another brilliant course. Blood butter ! butter milk and apple vinegar and our favourite spruce oil butter. So fresh and zingy. Everything was sourced from scandinavian designers, so the whole design was obviously beautiful. Quite hard to find. But worth... More

Hard to find restaurant as they are not allowed to have a sign on an architects building. Our cab driver had to call to make sure we were there. They have a 3,5, or 7 course tasting menu. Different every night. We (3) had 3 course & glad we didn't do more. They start with 3 amuse bouche & delicious... More
