Interesting menu, pleasant setting. Worth while, definitely!

This restaurant has earned the membership of La Chaine des Rotisseurs a couple of years ago, so you can expect both the food and service to be of excellent quality. And it is. This is not a cheap restaurant, but reasonable for fine dining. Recommended!

I've eaten in "Black Sheep" several times over the years and keep coming back. Reasons? The surroundings (19th Century beer cellar), the food (fine dining), atmosphere (although fine dining, no need to dress up), wines (very good wine list and knowledgeable staff). Looking from the outside one would never guess that Mustas Lamas is the best restaurant of Kuopio, but step inside and the place has awesome character and atmosphere. Food was awesome, staff courteous and wine fabulous.

Good, tasty and the most expensive restaurant in Kuopio, but worth while. Good wines.

nice location and good food, but REALLY small portions. I normally skip the desert, because there's no more space left in my tummy, but at Musta Lammas I was still hungry after having one.
