Not being a fan of dark hotels, I wondered if we should have stayed in Gamla Stan or Central Stockholm but I am delighted with the choice I made of Hotel Skeppsholmen. I did book a small room and I'm sorry to say I knew it would be too small as these are old barracks and we could hardly get... More

I enjoyed my meal just not the price tag. I know sweden is expensive in general, but my meal just did not warrant the price. I would still go again if in the area but not before trying some other establishments 1st. Maybe another dish would be better than the one i selected. Service was very good. Atmosphere was also... While staying at the hotel and being rather tired after a full day of walking around, we chose to eat in the hotel twice. The restaurant/breakfast section of teh hotel Skeppsholmen is called " Lange Raden Restaurant". There is a very limited à la carte-menu and an equaly limited wine/beer-list. Food is OK but that's all you can say. We... More

Spent an evening in mid-December here, eating through the traditional Christmas ver-sion of a classic, Swedish smorgasbord (“julbord”). Even if the running of a restaurant in this modus operandi is quite different from your every day one, I think I could see what they are good at – and not. The welcome was friendly, but not overwhelming. The food was... More

This restaurant really impressed me. As a Stockholmer I have tried lots of restaurants in the city, and this one qualifies for a place at the top-end. I had grilled sirloin with truffle butter, roasted cauliflower and fried potatoes, as a whole it was great and full of flavours. The potatoes nearly matched the ones I had at Dinner by... More

Sorry to say the Restaurant Långa Raden it,s hard to find if you not staying at Hotell Skeppsholmen. The food and interior of the Restaurant hidden beside the tiny lobby it,s for real.Design, but in a suddle Nordic blend. Worth the walking distance from central Stockholm. Modern and classical cooking with a touch. Prompt service and nice presentations, a bit... More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel and, of course, on the first night decided to visit the restaurant at the hotel. We have visited this restaurant during a previous stop at this hotel in 2011, and then we have the most pleasant experience for him. Unfortunately, this time the experience was different. In early highlighted the badly washed... More

Whilst staying in the hotel, and having enjoyed great breakfasts, decided to eat in the attractive restaurant. We chose not to take the seasonal Christmas Table instead chosing from the menu. The food was first rate, fresh, beautifully presented and competently cooked. Following a sublime starter I requested a small main course and that is exactly what appeared, top marks.... More

As we were staying at the Skeppsholmen Hotel and were exhausted after long days of walking in Stockholm we opted for the closest restaurant on hand four out of our five nights at the hotel and all our experiences were great. Prices are comparable to other similar restaurants around the area. Presentation and quality is excellent. Good choices. Great mix... More
