You can eat well and doesn't need to spend a lot of money, it is good to have a seat after a long walking. The interior is beautiful, it is a pity it doesn't have air conditioning.

I think this is a good place when the heat and put the tables in the street. You can relax after a walk in Gamla Stan. In the winter, it is very difficult to find an empty seat. I was helped by the staff, for which many thanks to them!
For Stockholm is probably a low-cost location. But desserts are...

Table availability was difficult but the food was delicious.Open sandwiches were amazing and pastries fantastic. The clearing of tables was slow which detracted from a good experience.
I only had a small seafood salad (if you can call it a salad). It was a long piece of bread covered with mayonnaise and hard boiled eggs, a slice of smoked salmon, a large spoonful of shrimp, topped with dill, masago (tiny orange fish eggs), and a few slices of cucumber and a slice of lemon. It was very...

The desserts are really good at this pastry shop. Even though it can get a bit crowded, the atmosphere is nice.
We were looking for dessert and stopped by this konditori (the oldest bakery in Stockholm). We had two delicious meringue-based desserts (one with lemon and one with hazelnuts)...each dessert was a measly 40 SEK, which is really reasonable for Sweden. This is definitely a good place to stop if you want solid pastries in the city.
We stopped here for lunch and coffee and it was great! It was in our lonely planet because its been serving up tea n coffee since 1785 (before my country was even a country!) The bottemless coffee was poured from an old copped urn and we sat outside in the old town - beautiful ! Highly recommend this place !...

Nicely situated in the Old Town. Food is OK to fine. Some plates really good. I had two starters, house springrolls with Swedish flavors of West Botnia cheese and applecarpaccio served with prawns, chili, coconut, dill and a honey-gingerdressing. Both were delicious. Then as a main course I took a mixture of different seafood ovenbaked with garlic and white wine:...

If you order coffee you can refill. Perfect sweets. Perfect tea. Perfect atmosphere.
The title says it all really. I think this is a real gem in Stockholm, especially considering its location in the usually ridiculously overpriced Gamla Stan district. At Sundbergs, purportedly the oldest existing cafe in the city (established 1785), you get the history, charm, reasonable prices and delectable food all together, and that really cannot be said for many Gamla...
