I will definitely remember the experience in Veneto Restaurant as one of the most exciting during my stay in Kreta!!! The food was excellent and the variety of wines unbelieverball!!
But what really counts for me is the personality of Argyro and Jiannis!!! They both make me feel as if I were at home!!!
All the best for you both...

I strongly recommend this place, as the best restaurant in Rethymno. It's cousine is typical Cretan with a gourmet touch. The value for money is also great..Ask from the owners to show the wine cellar......
it is placed at the old town of the city, in a venetian building with a lot of arches inside and an atrium. The staff is very friendly and you can enjoy their service. Very good food and beautiful restaurant. Baby goat with wild vegetable is delicious! Will definitely go back

There's a lot to look at both inside and outside, especially to those who like old Italian architecture;)
But, to our disappointment, the food turned out to be not more than just average... Despite the fact that they charge a very good deal for...
