Two menus plus à la carte. We opted for the 'Sea' menu.and were not disappointed. Every dish a sensation of tastes, and good wines to accompany them. Excellent service. This restaurant is michelin-star quality.

I have the best meals of my life at this restaurant. Yes, it is expensive. But there is no way you'll get this kind of food anywhere else cheaper than here.
Anyone should try this sort of meals, at least once in a lifetime. Perfectly cooked food, spotted on seasonings, top quality ingredients and awesome presentation!
The only problem is...

We had a great dinner here. The food was delicious - a modern twist on many Portugese classics. The suckling pig dish was fantastic! Don't miss the grilled Portugese sandwich to start. The setting is polished and modern. Service is very professional - on par with many Michelin one star restaurants. Wine list is huge although pricier than other places...

Perfect Restaurant for a special night out, DOP has top notch service, an excellent wine list and menu. The atmosphere is sleek and has seating on two levels. Top dishes were the suckling pig and local sandwich starter, with the shrimp starter being less successful and overpriced for the portion provided. Complimentary deserts top off a relaxing dining experience.
The food and service were absolutely outstanding. I also recommend Rui Paula's other restaurant, Doc, located by the Douro River.

When asking for a special restaurant for dinner in Porto, Sheraton reception recommended DOP. And we are glad we follow the advice, right in the center of the target! Peaceful and lightly room, professional yet warm service and top class food. The sea menu was our choice and it is simply delightful, don't miss the sommelier recommendation it is an...

What a great experience! Frankly speaking, this restaurant is cheap, if you factor in that it is so mich better than everything else you might (!!!) experience in it's price-leage. The Douro Menue and the sommelier's recommendations is spot-on for an orgy, no, a revelation of the senses. Tickle your taste-buds and treat yourself to an experience that will outlast...

We went to this restaurant during our vacation in Portugal and it was a very nice experience. It is situated in a lovely building. We felt by welcome and the staff was very nice to us. We had a tasting menu with matching wines. The food came in small portions and was well presented by the staff. We liked all...

slow service, high prices, short food. this restaurant is based on the name of the owner, but is not up to the expectations.
We went to this restaurant for my husband's birthday dinner and had one of the tasting menus (fish + meat). It was not cheap, but it was fantastic. A series of small courses, each one beautifully presented and "explained" by very professional staff. The food is very imaginative with fantastic flavours and a variety of Portugese produce. Worth a visit...
