Having read the reports I expected the ice cream to be the best. It is very good but I've tasted better even in a Lisbon restaurant. Prices are high for what you get.
If you're in or near Lisbon and you like pleasure, I suggest you go here as soon as you get the chance. It's not cheap - as some others have noted - but it's well worth the money. There's a fantastic range of sorbets for those who can't or don't want to ingest cow's milk - I got three good-sized... More
This is one of the best ice-cream (sorbet) that I ever had. My whole family loved the ice-cream here. You first pay for the ice-cream, they give you a receipt, then you go to the ice-cream counter to select your flavors. I just got the special of the day, and it was really really good. Highly recommended.
Located in the crowdy area of Rua Augusta, this cafe is a pearl when it comes to icecream. To be honest, it was one of the best icecreams I ever tasted. You can choose between a couple of serving-sizes and you can choose as many flavors as you want (they offer a wide range of flavors of both sorbets and... More
I have a new icecream shop I love. Former it was eisparadise in Kiel, Germany, but now this. Fantastic, I know where to go tomorrow :-)
Prices are high (€ 3.50 for a small cone), but you can put as many flavours as you want. This because the icecream is served in petals rather than ice cream balls. Very good selection and staff is very kind. Top tip: 1. Go mid morning, can get very crowded
Visited Amorino three times while I was in Lisbon. Let me just say that the gelato here is absolutely delicious. The way it works is you pay for either a small, medium, or large cone. No matter what size cone you get... you can have as many flavors as can fit on your cone! Also, the ladies serving the ice... More
What can be better than an ice cream on a hot day full of sightseeing? Just an ice cream served with aplomb. Walked in the nicely furnished ice cream parlor in an urgent need of cooling my lolling tongue. Paid for a medium size cone and was baffled by statement: "Choose as many flavors as you want". Hmm, how are... More

As our week in Portugal progressed, we found ourselves wanting some refreshments in the afternoon. Midweek we were in Baixa, so we stopped at Amorino. My wife had their version of the "drowning man", a concoction which is a cup of coffee with a scoop of vanilla ice cream dunked in it. She proclaimed it as nice, but not as... More
