The place is good, the quality of food is good, but the wine was not ok, probably it was just bad choice, and the portions are so small that I was hungry at the end of the dinner.

We specifically went there because the restaurant was rated first in Coimbra. The location is not great because you need to walk a bit to reach it from the city centre. I went for lunch and they had the daily menu for only 6,5€. The meal was really good. They have very good tapa as well.
Dux was recommended to us by our hotel. It was a fabulous meal! We let the owner choose the tapas, and everything was wonderful.
Ask the host to recommend a selection of tapas to start and one of their "traditional" mains. Great wine selection. .
A very nice option to spend a relaxed evening with some friends while enjoying carefully cooked tapas and one (or more) of the fantastic gins they offer.
