a classy selection of wine and tapas, we were glad to see that they had a variety of vegetarian dishes. Our fav was the honey goats cheese and walnut bruschetta. Our server was polite and made recommendations which were amazingly delicious. The restaurant looks marvellous and the food they serve is delicious.

How do you choose? How the heck do you choose? With multiple cafes, restaurants and holes in the Moorish walls how do you get lucky? Well maybe they are all wonderful, but Xpreitaqui serves Portuguese tapas and traditional dishes of a most superior quality. The trick here is to either go with a crowd and order plenty of dishes, or... More

The most delicious choice of Tapas, fresh and beautifully cooked. Fresh tomato Bruschetta with marinated anchovies, pieces of tuna steak, perfectly cooked, chicken with a peanut sauce, fresh grilled king prawns and more. Leave enough room for the fresh pineapple dessert (or chocolat cake for those that can) and do ask Jorges for his wine recommendations. Portugese wines have come... More

The food is very good, the service may get a bit slow if the restaurant is busy, but it is fantastic, I love the Tapas, chicken keebab in peanut sauce , prawns in lemon , monkfish with mustard sauce, black pudding. The main dishes are also very good, all the food is very well presented. Ah! and you should try... More

Excellent service, professionalism and most delicious food we ever got in Lagos! Prices are higher than those of the average restaurant in the old town but the food, service, presentation and trendy restaurant justifies it all! The white leather chairs are particularly comfortable and chic. We very much enjoyed our meals there. Highly recommended to those who want something different!... More

The soup had no taste. The tune was well done +++ (bubble gum). My salmon pasta was a pasta in a lot of oil. The salmon carpacho was no carpacho, just some slices of salmon with a terrible vinaigrette. You must wait more than one hour to get this taste of bad. I was there because of recommandations here. Again:... More

We decided to try is placed based on the decor alone. It is so different from the rest on the places we have seen or tried in Lagos. Just walking by and seeing the giant chalk board with the menu items intrigued us enough to look at the menu. That's rather funny as the name roughly translates to "look here".... More

I ate here on two consecutive nights during my stay in Lagos and on both occasions the food was outstanding. Many of the other restaurants in Lagos are a bit generic but the food at Xpreitaqui is highly original, beautifully presented and uses some really imaginative and creative flavours. I sampled tomato and mozzarella pastries, deep fried monk fish in... More
