Of course some sympathy is important but I think that what really matters is the food and quality, in general. Normally this excessive sympathy is an improvisation to fix fails. Well in this case they don’t have to improvise,... More

We all of us eat the veal cooked on the stone in front of you. Very very nice. Follow their suggestion to it accompanied by fruit that you can cook together with the meat.

Friendly people, cosy atmosphere (don't be mislead by neighborhood). Try the steak served on a hot stone!

Relaxed little restaurant, friendly service. The steak on the stone was excellent, so was my wife's wild boar stew. It was 35 degrees outside but the temperature indoors was comfortable. Nothing exceptional, but good honest food.

This place is a bit hard to find off a side street and we arrived quite late, but were welcomed in a friendly but not intrusive way. The very nice server, made some good suggestions for typical Alentejo dishes and wine. We had a migas I think it is called - a kind of bread/stuffing with meat; it was delicious.... More

Outside the walls and worth the walk. Good food (steak on the stone, lamb ribs, seafood rice, all good!). The service was little long but very pleasant. The temperature in the restaurant was very warm...

Just outside the city wall, nice place and good food! We had some starters, mushrooms, cheese, cured ham - all tasty, then lamb and the steak on a stone, both excellent. Asked them for wine tips and they offered a really good bottle of red wine, not to expensive and local. service was ok, when the restaurant is full they... More
