Went there for dinner based on the TA reviews. IMO, was only fair and was overpriced. I found better food for less $$ elsewhere in Bruges. What can I say? More

We have just had lunch today at this Restaurant. We tried to escape the touristy restaurants on the square and have not regretted our choice at all. We entered with our two small dogs, slightly hesitating as we usually keep them at home. To the maître nothing was a hassle, he swiftly put two tables together so that we had... More

A plate of olives as we sat on the patio in front enjoying the sunshine was a lovely accompaniment to a blond Belgian beer. Mort Shuman music from the '60s was playing in the background. Service was friendly once they agreed to let us just order beer and not a full meal at lunch time. More

We went in on spec for lunch. The food was interesting and well cooked. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The price was OK by Bruges standards and certainly much better value than the "tourist" restaurants on the main square. All together a pleasant experience and we strongly recommend Raymonds. More

We came here as it was a recommendation from our hotel. We found the menu adequate and the food reasonably good. The price was a little high, but it is near the main square. The service was very good. The crab special was very, very good and reasonable in price. I had steak poivre and it was very well prepared.... More

I had not done any research before a short visit to Bruges so had not read any of the earlier reviews of this restaurant. Keen to avoid eating in the main square we came across the Brasserie Raymond by chance. Upon entering - four of us - we were greeted quickly and in a friendly manner and asked if we... More

We wanted a good, efficient bistro/brasserie style restaurant with some local flavour and dishes. Our hotel (Grand Hotel Casselbergh) got it bang on. Service both charming and impeccable. Ambience typical brasserie style. I have no idea whether Raymond had a brasserie on this site in the 20s/30s, but you can believe, if he did, it probably felt pretty much like... More
