Friendly helpful staff. Spoiled for choice with the beers, plus good advice on what to try. Bit off the beaten track but with finding.
Amazing good old fashioned service, nothing too much trouble and very helpful in terms of making drinks suggestions for myself (not a big beer drinker) and my fiancée a passionate beer drinker. Over 100 beers available, close to the square and a lot cheaper than the tourist traps on and right next to the square. We were also helped with... More
My partner and I are visiting Bruges for the first time and I recall seeing this bar mentioned during my Trip Advisor research. We stumbled upon this place whilst exploring and were, admittedly, attracted by the prospect of 100 kinds of beer. This place rocks. Free WiFi, a plethora of beer choices and helpful staff make this place our new... More
Cafe de Kuppe is a short walk away from the Grand Market in Bruges. I agree with other reviewers about this place the Bar Manager and locals are very friendly and they have a wide choice of bottled Belgian Beers. Unfortunately, I only visited this cafe once during my stay in Bruges which was a mistake. It was great to... More
This bar has very friendly and helpful staff. We called in regularly whilst we were in Brugge and whoever was covering the bar at the time was helpful and chatty. We tend to sit at the bar whilst we are on holiday as this is where you will usually meet the locals and can often get into conversation with them.... More
Nice bar to stop at and rest after walking through the streets of Bruges. Friendly bartender, a few locals, and lots of beer selections. Prices are fair and a steal compared to buying these beers at a bar back home.
This became my regular pre-meal drop off. Menu of 100 beers from all over the world. Bar manager is a really helpful guy and will recommend where to eat, where to go, what beers to try etc etc. A little pricey, but really comfortable. Not luxiourious by any stretch , but a nice stop off point. Dodgy 70s disco music... More
Went to this bar during a day visit on the back of comments on Trip Advisor. To me this was just an average bar - although there was a very nice welcome from the bar staff and locals, this was nowhere near as good as the other bars we visited. Sorry to give it the first average, but would not... More
This little bar is definately worth a visit when you go to Brugges, from the vast selection of beers to the ambience this place has it all. It's not expensive and is slightly off the beaten track so is great for mingling with the locals after work.
