Great bar/restaurant. Very busy ---book if you want to guarantee a table. Proper food & over 400 beers. House ?? on draft was lovely with a slight taste of cloves(?) Onion soup was to die for.
Cambrinus was recommended to us as a bar, although really it is a restaurant with a huge selection of beers. I'm not sure that they welcome drinkers only, it is definitely focused on the food. Anyway, we decided to stay and eat. It was busy but we still only had to wait a few minutes for a table. We only... More
Great atmosphere.Very busy.Lots of different beers to try.Food really good-Hare Pie (more of a pate) excellent.Need to book in the evening although you can just turn up but could have a long wait.
We went to this place after a friends recommendation. It was busy and was given a 30 min wait. Luckily we were seated within 5. Menu contains over 400 beers. Good meat and fish choices. Food arrived in a timely manner and tasted good. Warm atmosphere and really enjoyable experience
This place packs out (as do many of the good restaurants in bruges during busy season), so if you want to eat here, make sure you make a booking. Portions are huge, and the food was really delicious. We ordered the Pheasant, Rabbit and Carbonnades (Belgian beef stew) none of whihc were dissapointing! I dont reccommend this place for a... More
We had a few disappointingly disingenuous experiences in Brugges, but Cambrinus stands out as a sincere Belgian beerpub, with good food, good beer and a nice atmosphere. It is busy, make no mistake about it, but the coziness enables a nice flow of conversation from table to table. If I head to Brugges again, I will definitely go back!
We had read about it and it seemed like a must-go but every time we passed by it was full to overflowing so never managed to get a look in!
We've been here a number of times and it is a fantastic place to spend a few hours, the atmosphere is always great and you can try so many beers you will be spoilt for choice. We visited recently on a Saturday lunchtime and ate lunch, the food was in revile and far better than I expected. We'll always return... More
My husband and I visited on Saturday 7th dec. hadn't booked so took a chance and popped in there around 4pm. Happened to get a table immediately although you could see it was very busy. The table had a reserved sign but i think this is to save tables for people to eat. My husband had a juplier beer to... More
I can't add anything to the previous reviews, except to say we tried different choices from the menu, lamb for me and sole for my husband both very good. Also tried the desserts which were excellent. This restaurant was near to our hotel so we passed several times a day and it was always full and vibrant. Like the last... More
