Although I am deeply mediterranean, particularly in the kitchen, I found the food I was served in Up North particularly delicate, tasty and healthy. Rich in flavour, and light and simple. Spotless, as it was the service, very friendly and competent. All this for a very decent price. Chapeau! More

Why isn't this place packed at every service? I can only imagine a lack of marketing. The Scandinavian food is exceptional, with a small seafood oriented menu that changes regularly on a seasonal basis. The service too is exceptional as are the very reasonably priced wines. This Scandinavian restaurant is only a short walk from the Grand Palace in the center of Brussels. The seafood was fresh and very well prepared. All of the staff was attentive and friendly. We highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a seafood dinner in Brussels. Don't leave without trying the blueberry dessert. More

This was my third visit and I remain impressed. The restaurant serves Scandinavian food - with fish as a speciality - and is owned and run by the Chef, who seems to be Norwegian.
