A bit out of town on the way to cemeterie díxells normall a hard place to park so a tram and a ten minut walk works. I had the noon menu degustaion 40 Euros . 4 small dishes that were fantastic followed by fantastic sahimi cubed and piled up in a nice way and the barley with suace and some... More

Went here last Friday with my wife. Had booked 4 weeks in advance and only seats available were at the counter facing the open kitchen - no problem for us, we love to see our food being prepared 'live', and to me it's always a good sign that the chef doesn't want to 'hide' in a closed kitchen. Reception was... More

We like the food very much in this restaurant. For my son's 18th birthday I booked a table for 6 people a few weeks in advance. As it was his 18th birthday I wanted it to be special for him so I booked early. A few days before another person told us that she could also join us and I... More

One think is not perfect... Too many people want to go like me to this fantastic one star Japanese restaurant. Inventive and fantastic quality price menu.  But full most the times have to be patient or make a reservation weeks before. More

Yesterday I invited a colleague of mine and his spouse out for dinner in Kamo. Both of us had high expectations, that were not met as they were on previous occasions. Since this was supposed to be a real treat, we chose the degustation menu. A five course menu that shows you the different tastes of the Japanese cuisine. The... More

The restaurant has an unassuming exterior in one of those nondescript Ixelles streets so typical in Brussels. And that sets the tone for the unassuming nature of the whole place. It is simply just good Japanese food, prepared fresh right in font of your eyes. We sat at the long bar and had the added enjoyment of watching the chefs,... More

Kamo is a small, literally plain place, which does not make an impression by its appearance. The chefs are practically working among the customers and especially if you are seated at the bar, u can enjoy watching complicated dishes being made in front of your eyes. These dishes seem to be Kamo's forte. We chose to "play safe" and had... More
