She had snails as a started, and a lovely vegetarian pasta with a goat-cheese stuffed portabello mushroom. He had a tasty duck starter with a small spring roll, slices of duck breast with hoisin sauce and noodle salad; with venison as a main. Annies verjaardag is a nice place to relax in summer or winter time, near Annies there is now a big christmas tree, it feels like if your in a charles dickens decor.

Nice place to have a couple of drinks; especially when the weather is nice and you can sit outside. It's a nice spot as well on the canal in the centre of Leiden. You can have small bites, sandwiches or even baked dishes and salads.

Beautiful, romantic location, very good service and the food was excellent!

Food is basic but is good quality and it is more of a bar than a restaurant. They have a large area outside on a floating terrace which I should imagine would get very busy in the summer, service was good and prices about average.

Location is great: you can sit on a floating terrace on one of Leiden's canals. Food and drinks are very nice.
