We had a great evening at Deeg. They offer organic food (both vegetarian and non-vegetarian) for great prices. The menu is 35 euros which is not very expensive. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly. There is a very nice atmosphere. Nothing to complain about!

This restaurant is definitely one of the better ones in Utrecht. The service is excellent, very friendly and professional at the same time. The food is very good, although there are places in Utrecht where you can get better food for about the same price. The atmosphere is good and is helped by the fact that Deeg is not located...

The other reviews are very accurate. Contemporary Dutch cooking with an emphasis on local and seasonal offerings. The menu allows you to choose 3 small appetizers, go for the celeriac salad, the walnuts are a wonderful counterpoint I really enjoyed the red cabbage served with th skirt steak. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Before leaving, I changed this to 20:45, fearing I had underestimated the time needed...

I went yesterday night for our anniversary and I picked this restaurant on the basis of other people's comments. I have to say that on average I do not like the type of cuisine you find in the Netherlands: too much French influence (all tastes the same), low quality of ingredients, too many ingredients and combinations on one plate, more...

We went to Deeg on a Saturday nights at 7pm. You would think that at this time on a Saturday the place would be close to full, however there were only two other tables of two for the whole evening we were there - a bit of a depressing and empty atmosphere for a saturday night out. Despite being almost...
