We had a great evening in this restaurant dining with friends, the young staff was very friendly though not super knowledgeable nor very professional, but adequate. The wine was fine, the food was certainly acceptable.

I visited here with colleagues of all nationalities. The food is excellent, the service is friendly and you leave smiling. My Italian colleagues are even prepared to eat here, which cannot be said of other Italian restaurants in Haarlem! Food is freshly cooked, so do not expect a fast meal. Just expect food of the highest quality, well presented and...

We chose this restaurant based on the tripadviser reviews and were not disappointed. The service was excellent, the waiter was putting a lot of energy in having good conversations and explaining very lively the suggestions of the day. Food was nice and according to the standards you can expect in Italy, wines were nice as well.
Food, service, atmosphere all make this one of the best dining experiences in Haarlem. The standard menu is chock full of great Italian fare but the real excitement comes with the special menu (blackboard menu) that changes daily or weekly. From the freshest burrata to special pastas to truffle coated bisecta, each dish true to its special flavor and made...

We ate at La Forca for 'Vegetarian Restaurant Week' last night for the first time so we had a set menu. The place is very cozy and intimate, and the food was really delicious. Lots of attention to details from the chef by using different veggies and knowing how to present them. I was pleased to see that it was...

A boutique restaurant than specialises in custom menu choices. The blackboard menu is a delight, if not just to hear the delicious waitress pronouncing Italian dishes with her Dutch accent. I would eat here just to hear her... The ala carte menu was also good with some standard choices if the blackboard was a little too adventurous. It is a...

This place is seen as one of the better restaurants in Haarlem. And I love traditional Italian food. We came in a little late, around 9 pm and we had the feeling that the waitress could not get over that. Ok, let's try the carpaccio and the bruschette! What can go wrong? Well the oil used on the bruschette was...

The ambience of this place is cozy. It is centrally located near the main shopping district. I had the risotto whic was gluey. My colleagues had the steak and were pleased with it. The service was good. The food was just ok for the value. No menu in English is available but the server graciously explained the me u for...

While staying in Haarlem, we were out walking in the wind and cold when we discovered the Restaurant La Forca. We had not done any advance planning on restaurants, and we felt very lucky to have stumbled across this small, cozy restaurant on a narrow street. We only speak English, and they did a good job of translating the menu....

We were there with my wife and a friend on a quiet Wednesday evening. The place was half full and had 2 main waitresses.
We were speaking English & Russian. The waitresses didn't seem to handle that very positive. I felt they stayed distant from us and only did what they needed to do. Just missed that something extra.
Normal...
