Description: Fifteen restaurant in Amsterdam is an exciting offshoot of Jamie Olivers famous Fifteen London, a great example of one set of dynamic, generous people inspiring others to act. In this case, the others are Sarriel Taus and Coen Alewijnse who have created this combination restaurant and chefs school in partnership with Fifteen London to benefit the struggling young people of Amsterdam. So whats it like at the dining end of the equation? Very cool. The arty cosmopolitan style includes vibrant graffiti-scrawled sheet metal walls contrasting nice with the smart, sleek modern lines, designer seating and white table cloths. The restaurant seats up to 200, yet can still feel right for an dinner a deux. Each night a tasting menu is on offer, inspired by Jamie Oliver incorporating only the freshest regional produce. The modern Italian menu changes weekly and includes one of Jamies favourite antipasti to start, a first dish of fresh pasta, gnocchi or risotto, second course of meat, fish, poultry or game, and, were quoting here, a wicked dessert. A wine tasting menu is available to match the food tasting menu, or choose your own from the excellent list.

Having just came back from a holiday in Amsterdam, my wife and I decided to try this restaurant, we got a table and sat outside, I am a coeliac and the waiter happily spoke to the chefs and ensured that i got a gluten free meal. We enjoyed our meal at 15, the staff were extremely helpful and attentive and... More

Went here on a conference dinner (buffet) and was very disappointed. The quantity of food was so small that not everyone managed to eat, and people were queuing by the kitchen waiting for food to come out so they could snap it up. The food was average supermarket fayre, for example the cold starters could easily have come from a... More

Went recently in May and the food was possibly the worst I have ever experienced. To say that Jamie Oliver preaches ' best food' this was certainly not. Despite four of the eight meals being rejected ( all very cold, very poor quality and very over seasoned steaks ) and consequently deducted off our bill we were still required to... More

After reading mixed reviews we visited Fifteen with trepidation. Slightly out of the way but in an amazing industrial setting we found our welcome warm and efficient. We did wait a little longer than normal to have our order taken but we've found the service slow 3 out of 3 meals in Amsterdam so perhaps this is my impatience rather... More

Good location, nice place and good; but not great service. Unfortunately, the food was a MAJOR let down. The fish wasn't cooked too well and the veg; especially the potatoes were crucified mush. I wouldn't return and I couldn't/wouldn't recommend to anyone I'm afraid. More

The Fifteen concept is of course genius, and we had a good experience. Starting with Champagne at the bar, then enjoying nice starters, good pasta and tasty (but a bit too big) dessert, with a bottle of good Italian wine, it was a no-frills, nice dinner. Both the vegetarian cannelloni's and the ravioli were tasty, although the sauce could've used... More

I have been here twice. The first time, the food was excellent. However, the second time was on Valentine's Day, and the food was poor. More

First I should say that we had a lovely evening here at « Fifteen » but mainly thanks to the lovely company we were with! But what about the place itself? Well it’s a lovely space and the bar area is a nice space for a pre-dinner drink. After that I just don’t get it…..staff who are basically is some... More

From the minute you enter Jamie's 15 you are treated like royalty. The service is superb and the food was excellent. The restaurant is a credit to all who work there. More

We were 2 couples without a reservation, the staff was very friendly, promptly found a nice table for us. There's many options on the menu, and also on the wine list, food was very good, you could taste all the flavors, portions of nice size, not super expensive, $ 140 euros, 3 course meal with wine. Overall, very good experience!... More
