While visiting Amsterdam for a day, we decided to go try out the Tokyo Cafe, as one of our friends had recommended it! The place is HUGE! And buzzing with activity! But they have some quiet area in the back which allows for a romantic evening! Also when the weather is nice they have a nice outdoor seating. The sushis... More

All you can eat concept. Small portion deliverd to your table as much as you like. Taste average, didnt like sushi. Rude waiter, should stay home instead of serving others. More

We had to wait a long time for our oder and then they brought the wrong items. After a long wait we finally got our food, which was good, or was it that we were so hungry? More

Good Food Good Price - Never though I would say this about an 'all you can eat place'. Japanese food - 50+ different dishes including some sushi dishes. We paid a fixed price for a each person (approx. €25 for the deluxe menu/ €20 for the standard menu). Drinks are extra (and reasonably priced). You order off the menu and... More

All you can eat sushi for 25,80 euros...if you go for the deluxe menu....drinks are on top... To me it's a fair price for sushi....and quality is excellent... Service was efficient...and helpful without becoming overwhelming...and they were all smiling...I really enjoy it...and will definitely visit again. More

When i think of sushi, the phrase "all you can eat" is usually a big turn off. But this place was fantastic! The fixed-price menu has everything a fully sushi menu would for, i think, 26euros!! It was unbelievable! We just kept ordering and they just kept bringing delicious, well-prepared sushi and other Japanese food! i think every single thing... More

Surely the worst food in my whole life ... sushis were horrible, fish is definitely not fresh (salmon is horrible), maki were a shame (VERY bad rice, horrible taste). Even sushi sauce was terribly dilluted, which gave it a very bad taste. Ice cream with a horrible chemical taste, waiters are dishonest (don't serve what you ordered unless you insist... More

There are many other all-you-can Japanese resturants all over the Netherlands especially in bigh cities. These new restaurants offer sushi and grill. They charge between 16.50 to 17.50 euro for lunch (it is more expensive for dinner although you have a bit more options but personally I will go for lunch). So, in comparison, what Tokyo Cafe offers is expensive... More

The place to go for Japanese food in Amsterdam, this is housed in what looks like an old art shop on the Spui. The prices seem a little steep, but you get a lot for your money and on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings it's an all-you-can-eat sushi for 18 Euros. More
