Tabac is a nice little bar in the jordaan district of amsterdam. We ate here recently as they serve a selection of small asian dishes which was recommended by a friend. Cafe Tabac is located in one of the nicest and most pittoresque neighbourhoods in Amsterdam. Next to it, two canals come together and you have a nice view of all the little enlighted bridges. On our walk home from the Red Light District to our hotel, we stopped at Cafe Tabac for a beer and were pleasantly surprised. Tabac has it all: great views on 2 of Amsterdam's most beautiful canals, the Brouwersgracht and the Prinsengracht. Close to both the Lindengracht market and the Noordermarkt (biological food on Saturdays). Nice staff, nice beers, nice food. More
