Cobra is just behind the Rijksmusem and serves great coffee. There are some great paintings from the COBRA group artists on the wall. Service was fine and friendly and the food looked excellent.

the young crowd serving at the cobra do not pay attention to customers leaving them gloomy and, after a while, very annoyed. the place has many tables but not all of them was taken therefore I waited optimistically in fact the food on the menu and the served looked inviting but after being overlooked for too many times I left... I had lunch here during the off-season but it was still quite full of people. As others have commented, the food was good but the wait service was very slow. My food took a while and my check took even longer. All in all, however, for being smack in the middle of a tourist zone it was worth it and... More

We stopped here between visits to the Reijkmuseum and the Van Gogh, with a discount (15%) for tickets from the first. For 6 euro I had the most incredible open faced brie and roasted vegetable sandwich (see picture). Far more and better than i'd expected from what seemed to be a tourist stop only. Very friendly and efficient (though seemingly... More

Have not eaten more than snacks here but it is a great place to sit on a sunny Summers day on the large terrace overlooking the Museum Plein. Nice for families to as there are a number small swings for kids to play with and where parents can keep an eye on them and no cars around. Service can be... More

Took ages to get service, we ordered burgers and a lattes, were presented with the tiniest servings we've encountered in Europe. To add insult, they charge for the use of their toilet. Rip-off.

Opposite the Rijksmueum on the corner of the park. Trendy modern interiour, young and keen staff, very friendly. Good salads, went back again for the carpaccio and also tried the chicken Caesar - both really fresh and tasty. Quite good value for a city centre eatery. €30 for 2 salads, one beer & glass of red wine.

The cafe is conveniently located in Vondel Park, close to the Rijksmuseum. We went for a late lunch and there were plenty of diners everywhere. There's indoor and outdoor seating at this large cafe. The cafe has a retro feel to it and is light and bright. I got a tuna salad and a pea soup. The soup was excellent,... More
