Very good steaks at fair price... service was belove average but definitively worth

We had ribs and sirloin steak. The quality of the food was very good, but service...it was 5 people in the restaurant but still we have been sitting with an empty glasses for 15 minutes and waitress was just doing nothing :( French onion soup was too spicy.

walking past one of the waiters came out to persuade us to come in and said if we didnt like it we dont pay so we gave it a try. it was lovely possibley the nicest steak iv ever had and very good value, would definalty come here again if visting amsterdam!

Good value steaks, i had the sirloin which was excellent. Waiters were good but the restaurant was very quiet. I think it could do with a facelift to attract more people in. Two steak meals and drinks cost 42 euros so cheaper than most steak bars in the area.

Fred's Steakhouse is unpreposessing and unpretentious, but turned out to offer a really excellent steak - cooked expertly and very tasty. The lamb chops, I can attest, were just as good.
