That was one of places where we had lunch, it was not busy place during the day, and our orders were prepared quickly. Very good selection of steaks! I am sure you can find some cheaper restaurants around (we saw ads for 11EUR steaks), but we were happy with service and quantity and quality of food prepared.

We stopped here for a drink and a small snack but on looking at the menu decided on a lunch meal. The service was very good, atmosphere good, and food was very good and tasty at a reasonable price. Would have gone there again, however only found it on our last day in Amsterdam

Meat is expensive in the Netherlands, I suppose the main use of cows is for Dairy and Cheeses. So the very best steak is generally imported and this restaurant brings in meat from Argentina. My husband I have eaten in a few Argentinian restuarts in Amsterdam. This was one of the best. We arrived very late but were greeted by the owners. Fast service, friendly owners, cute kitten who visited at the end of our meal. The restaurant closed before we finished but the staff did not hurry us at all. Highly recommend!

for 10 euro we got small handful of chips crappy floppy grilled chicken, just about edible and some salad drenched in some sauce. 7.50 for ''medium' cokes!!! should have been small. and also we got charged for 'new years day service' without being told a thing.

Our only real disappointment in amsterdam. Should have guessed by the waiter who beckoned us in as we looked through the menu. Food was of supermarket ready made quality at triple the price.

We were starving, and having just checked into the Inntel weren't keen on searching for food, so convenience more than anything landed us at this steakhouse.
