OMG! I had a piece of the Appeltaart here and wished I had another. No queue when I was there as well when I was there. Wonder if they do DHL or FedEx...
Undecided to go to Winkel 43 due to the reviews for the apple pie. However, I went there for dinner first. It was quite busy at almost 8 pm and I got the last table for two.

Renowned as the best in Amsterdam, the pie tastes great. A little overhyped and the queues are ridiculous. It is a deep dish pie with a cinnamony and appley taste, quite moist and served with lots of cream? Finding a seat is difficult. Worth the wait if you're patient.
Smelled the pie and had to get some. It did not disappoint and we were exceptionally happy with the food
A consistent menu ,a very old place with young and enthusiastic waiters, very good choice of beers and huge portion of spare ribs! Just try it!
This place is purportedly THE place to get apple pie and indeed it is delicious. A generous slice with a coffee makes for a complete meal/large snack. We found this cafe by pure luck; it's on the edge of the Jordaan neighbourhood (which in and of itself is worth a stroll). Nice atmosphere, wooden tables, decent cup of tea, and amazing apple cake/pie with real whip cream - just delish!
This is the apple pie that all others are compared to. The flavour was superb, not super sweet like white trash versions. The apples were fresh and sweet and the crust was flaky and cooked just perfect. I would go back here for the pie every day if I could.
If you stumble across this little cafe you must have the apple cake. The queue is round the block for a reason...it's scrummy!
