Ordered a madras curry and it was hot hot but delicious, so glad i did not order a vindaloo. The food was delicious, good beer selection, beautiful nan and attentive service at a reasonable price. Highly recommend

Located very near Anne Frank's House, Koh-I-Noor is a true indian restaurant. The food was very tasty and the service was nice. I really enjoyed the lamb. When you asked for the check, they give you a card asking to be reviewed here on tripadvisor, so they are confident on their job.

We've had indian food prior to this experience and hated it. After having food in Kohinoor we're open to Indian food again! We loved it! The food was great and the service was impeccable! You owe it to yourself to try this restaurant.

My colleague and I have now made a habit of finding an Indian restaurant in whatever town we meet. Great choice here in Amsterdam. Small, unpretentious, with the owner involved and engaged with every table. Has been there since 1981; clearly a reason they are still in business. Chicken Tikka Masala perfectly spiced. The thin flatbreads they bring to the... More

The most spicy Indian dish outside of India. If you like spicy then give it a try.

After a long day at Keukenhoff it was wonderful to be welcomed by the attentive staff at koh i noor. The food was delicious, spiced pefectly and the staff coached us to order just the right amount . Each dish had it's distinct flavor and blended well with each other. Don't pass up on the tender lamb Rogan Josh or... More

This one of 2, the other being on Rokin. It was crowded for a saturday night and the service was ok even though it was very busy. Fine popadums and the second best Sheek Kebab I have had in Amsterdam. By far the best Madras I have had. If you are in the area then it is a good choice... More

Excellent experience! I felt very happy afterwards. The food is great, the service is very friendly. The ambiance is just perfect: It feels sophisticated, but relaxed. Sometimes I feel very uncomfortable in quality-restaurants because the vibes are so formal. But koh i noor is just perfect.
