We only had time for afternoon tea and cake at Gartine. I wish I could try more of the wonderful selections on the menu. We had the Sencha tea, lemon chiffon cake, and white chocolate cheesecake. All were perfect. This was the best cheesecake I have ever tasted.

Had breakfast on Apr 28 at Gartine...Querky little place...Good service and above all great food....One of the best breakfasts I've had anywhere in the world (continental breakfast)...Will be back...

An outstanding little place for a light lunch, but make sure you leave enough room for dessert (or just go there for tea and dessert). The lemon meringue pie was the best I have ever had.

We had a light lunch and high tea and very much enjoyed our time. I am not sure if it is the most spectacular place to enjoy tea in the city, but it is cozy and everything was tasty!

Ate here the day we arrived. Hubby a bit dubious when we looked through the window and at the menu, but he really enjoyed what he ate. We both had soda bread sandwiches, which were well presented and tasted fantastic! Would like to have gone back but we ran out of days!

The other reviews were correct, Gartine was tough to find! On a narrow street with very little fanfare from the outside, you could walk right by it and miss it. And what a gem you would miss! This teeny tiny place is perfect for breakfast, brunch, tea time! Found it randomly today: a pearl compared to the other numerous tourists addresses.
