A step above other cafe restaurants in the area. Good soups and sandwiches / broodjes.

The food here is great, delicious, modern Dutch and well-presented. This would have got a 5-star rating from me, but for their insistence in bringing us a completely unnecessary bowl of 'frietjes' (French Fries, or Chips to the Brits) with the mains, thus immediately lowering that course to the same uninspired level as 'every other Dutch restuarant you've ever eaten... The food is fantastic and even if it is a Tuesday night there is always people around creating a great atmosphere. The owner is most of the time the front man and he really makes a great evening into a fantastic one :-)
