I've been to Lumiere several times and each time, the food and service are excellent. I recommend ordering the steak with Cafe de Paris sauce, it never disappoints. The dessert of the day whatever it may be is also excellent.

Good food, nice service, small restaurant with interesting decoration.
Central location with French bistro type deco. The service is very good and staff are exceptionally friendly.
The menu has limited choice. Most people come to the restaurant for the entrecote with café de Paris sauce. The entrecote is good but very expensive for what it is. The moules were very small. For the price I would expect higher quality....

With it's cozy room size and arrangement of tables, the restaurant closely resembles Parisian establishments. Limited amount of dishes on the menu but all of them impeccable served with pommes alumettes (a must even if you're on a diet). Great for any occasion, be it a romantic dinner, corporate event or outing with friends.
By far my favorite restaurant in Zurich. As I'm French, I always take the same dish: Entrecote cafe de Paris. The meat and the pommes frites allumettes (very thin French fries) are excellent. It's not a cheap restaurant (the entrecote for two costs a bit more than CHF90) but it's definitely worth it.
Not cheap, but a real treat! Can't wait to go back again.
This is a small restaurant but i believe the owner has 13 Gault Millau Points for another restaurant of his. The argentina beef is to die for. The service is good but you need to make a reservation if on the weekend starting thursday. high recommendable. it is a bit pricey but hey you need to pay for good food...

A proper Parisian, if one can close their ears to all the English and German speakers. Excellent, friendly service; good food, properly prepared; backed up by a good, albeit short, wine list. A place, for once, in Zurich, with some atmosphere.
Coque au vin and a well assorted list of French wines at realistic prices but also a cosy, romantic alternative to the other eateries in Zurich serving Dieter Meier's argentinian beef. Authentic French Bistrot style atmosphere, not for the either massively overweight or claustrophobic as the m2/guest ratio is tight as in Paris. Lovely terrace overlookinig old town square.
Centrally located, great service and some very well-made French classics on the menu. Would certainly go there again.
