This is a very convenient terrasse and resto for a pre-opera apero or meal. NIce views now that the construction site has been cleared - recommended.

Only went to the goethe bar for lunch twice. Service is really slow and not accurate. Food was very good the first tine but last week the ceasar salad only tasted like full of vinegar. May be wrong day for the chef but would think of going back again soon
Have been to the bar quite a few times for aperos. Very nice and relaxed. Finally ate at the restaurant. It was very good. The menu had TOO many good options it was hard to decide. I will go back again for sure.
If Goethe and Schiller were exceptional, the food here is not. Not bad at all, just not at the level of the price in my eyes. otherwise nice surrounding, still enjoyable.
Went last night with wife before going to movie.
Service was genuinely excellent, something not to be taken for granted in Zürich.
Food: we liked the fish displayed on ice which one could pick out. I had the reindeer which was excellent.
Environment: great location near Bellevue/Opera (bit of a building site outside right now unfortunately)... really liked that they...

The wait was rather long although we were in no rush and enjoyed sipping on a bottle of wine in the calming ambience of the brasserie. Everyone was focused on the food when it was brought out -- every meal was a masterpiece in both presentation and the taste. Especially suitable place for a romantic dinner.
We ate here fairly late with only three other tables occupied, the service was very good, friendl and helpfull. For the main course we both had mussels and fries, which was served in two helpings. I have to say some of the mussels were a bit dried out. Overall we were quite happy and will return when back in Zurich
Dinner with family and very pleasant surprised of the environment, menu and service. The fish was excellent and the price was very fair for Zurich. Good location and ambiance. 240 CHF for three people incl. wine is fair for CH
One of the few places open late at night for a gourmet dinner on Sat. We came at 22:30 and got excellent soup and salad, foi gras and one of the tastiest antrecotes I've ever had. Wonderful selection of sweet cheeses and desert wines.
Had a lovely dinner here of steak in a port reduction, tender tasty steak and a good sauce. My companion had a great fish dish. The waiter was friendly knowledgable and helpful with choices from the menu and recomended a good wine, which was their wine of the month, a French Pinot, delicious. It was a thursday evening and the...
