We have been several times at the pizzerias Frascati (on the lake) and in Stauffacher. I am italian and I find the pizzas in Molino really good, maybe the best pizzas in Zurich. We've never had any problem with the service, always quick and satisfying. The Pizzeria on the lake can be pretty busy in spring/summer, so it is best... More

My wife and I went to the local Molino in Uster on Poststrasse for what we thought would be a nice Italian meal on a lazy weekend. My oh My, what a dissappointment. I ordered a Pizza, which was average at best. I have had better pizzas at bahnhof takeaways, but that wasn't the problem. I can accept average food... More

I actually visited the Montreux branch of this chain, but I think my experiences reflect on the chain as a whole. It took us 3 hours to get 2 courses, and that was only after we put pressure on them. The worst thing though was that when the bill came they had charged us for mains rather then starters (as... More

Italian food is one of my favorite cuisine. When I saw molino, I thought I will enjoy the food especially when I saw their pizza which looks to me great! In addition, the place looks very crowd inside and outside the restaurant. Therefore, I paid a visit to have supper with my wife. The impression went slowly down when I... More

Avoid molino's service attitude. No matter you have dinner in zurich several location or any other branch like montreux, you get the worst and rude service you ever enjoyed in a pizzeria. Stay away. Better pizza and service at santa lucia More

We were hungry and hadn't done our homework for dinner that night. Since we were already in the area, we started looking at menus etc. This place was pretty busy and the prices were good (for Zurich). Food was not good - hard crust bottom on the pizza and soggy on the top - very thin. Basically they bake the... More

While previous reviewers seemed disappointed with the food/service, we were treated as you would expect in Europe - functional service and decent food. Yes its expensive but the trade off was the nice view of the water and the people watching. Don't expect five star dining, but its fresh homey pizza/pasta with no frills. More

I had been to this nice pizzeria several times. It has simply one of the best pizzas in the city. The staff are really kind. I personally like the quatro formagi or margarita pizza. But Lasagna and other foods are delicious as well. The wines are fine too. Make sure you go early or reserve a table. I recommend the... More

Stayed in Zurich late on Sunday and were starving so walked into the city. We were expecting McDonalds as we were told kitchens close by 10. Saw this place and asked if they were still serving. They were so we sat outside and our order turned up within 15 minutes. From then on thou it felt we were stopping them... More
