The food was excellent but the restaurant is a bit small and noisy. I recommend in reserving in advance because the place is always full. They also suggest nice lunch meals.

I had to pick one restaurant out of the many indian restaurants here in Lausanne to go for lunch, and thank god i made the right choice!
First off when you enter, it is rather a small-average sized restaurant/bar with good decor and ambience. Table and chairs are normal and arranged in groups of 2, so you will be close...

Not-typical but great Indian restaurant near the train station in Lausanne. The food is clearly Indian, but the way it is prepared and served is not. It looks more European. The calamar as a first course is amazing. Both chicken and duck main courses are great. I did not try anything else. And do not miss the desserts, particularly the...

We went on saturday evening with our child (6 years old) and the stuff was gentle and kind.
The place has a nice decoration, original and very nice for my taste; the menu hasn't a long choise of dishes but all we had was delicious and very fresh and very well presented and decorated on the plate. We will come...

This place was recommended by a restaurant in Nyon. I am pleased to visit & write as I sit inside amongst frequent visitors who are recognized by the staff.
Atmosphere is very friendly, the style down to earth and very clean. The music charming ethnic Indian. The smells fragrant.
The food was well made and I had a selection. This...

Awful awful food and expensive! Do yourself a favor and buy actual kochar's simple Indian and follow the recipe then you'll understand the difference and perhaps appreciate what Indo-Pakistani is.
Wonderful subtle Indian cuisine. Great staff with a warm welcome. Probably the best Indian food I have ever eaten. I will be back.
Great food, not too spicy but very tasty, the real Indian stuff. The cakes are also very good, and the cardamom spiced ice-cream really tastes like the ones I had in India. Prices are comparable to standard Swiss restaurants, with ~40CHF per person you have a main and a dessert. Only downside is that the place is small and can...

I have had very mixed experiences at Nandanam. It is one of the only Indian restaurants in Lausanne and have an extremely limited menu. My initial experience with the restaurant was very good and I'd highly recommend the chicken tikka masala. However i was very disappointed the last time I ate there in January 2012 as the food completely lacked...

We're both big Indian food fans but were left a little disappointed here. The food is good but really lacks any chili and we couldn't help but feel that the edge was taken off for the milder loving Swiss culture. Atmosphere is nice, service friendly but I don't think we'd go back.
