La Cucina de Alice is a small non- touristy delicious restaurant along the main lakeside street in Lugano. Simple, fresh food with friendly service.

My friend and I visited here for a lunch. We had not booked but were lucky enough to get a table as it filled up very quickly. The atmosphere is relaxed and easy going. The food was incredible: very fresh and well prepared. The staff were friendly and able to adapt to our dietary needs.

The location is perfect. The food can be good or poor. We had bufula that was spoiled and couldn't be eaten but no consideration was taken about it being unfit for consumption. Service is always poor although friendly.
