The fondue was one of the best we had during our trip. The spaetzli was prepared the way my grandmother made it. Our server was a very efficient 60ish women. loved her.

Our food was delicious, our waitress was sweet and accommodating (despite our party asking for all separate checks and being completely unable to speak any Swiss), the atmosphere was very comfortable and homey, and the prices are very reasonable for the area (not to mention the quality!). A great little place - authentic Swiss cuisine. It's casual and friendly. It features fondue, with a traditional Swiss menu -- and meats and vegetables in season. A cute cozy place that was decorated for Fall when we dined there.

We went here the first night in Interlaken and were delighted with the menu, the food and the service. Had fondue and rosti, both very good. The atmosphere is very comfortable but not fancy and the prices were not out of line. The restaurant is in the Hotel Interlaken.

It isn't the easiest to locate but it sure is worth the trip! Restaurant Laterne served great local dishes (the cheese fondue was good) and the waitress provided excellent service.
