Italian restaurant in a great location but that's it, the food is not the best, and it's not cheap so you can find better places in Luzern

We were recommended by our hotel concierge to come here. The food was very salty. The portions are large so if you're not a big eater, try sharing something instead. The lamb is cooked tenderly but also salty. We won't be rushing to head back to this restaurant.

A good, pleasant, clean, busy, Italian restaurant that doesn't charge for tap water ! We had the experience of being charge for tap water at another restaurant which we thought was a bit over the top. So when we discovered Ristorante Rossini, we were very happy with their menu, service and free water ! Thankyou to the staff for their... More

We needed a place to eat. We wanted Italian cuisine. We found it. We ate. We left. Nothing to report good or bad. It was adequate.

Right on the river with lovely views of the city, one could well forgive this place for being just a tourist trap. Not so, the penne all'arabiata and mixed salad I had for luch here were very good indeed. I would definitely go back.

Tomato soup (very small bowl) was 10.50CHF. Average mushroom pizza with very little mushroom topping - CHF 24. This was the only place we went to that charged us for serving tapwater (for memory around - 4 CHF). Convenient location just across from Chapel Bridge and therefore very popular. Switzerland (and Lucerne) generally is expensive but our view is that... More

Lucerne was the last stop of our 15 days trip to Switzerland...a country which is the most visitor friendly and which I hold a high regard for. We were staying in one of the most hospitable and beautiful hotels in Lucerne. Since our kid wanted to eat pizzas we decided to RESERVE (by telephone) a place at the Ristorante Rossini... More

During our stay in Luzern we decided to have a drink at the terrace of Ristorante Lucerne. We ordered a coffee and a tea. We had to pay 9 CHF (that's almost 7 euro). Compared to other restaurant we have been to in Switzerland a bit to expensive we think. When we asked for a receipt the waiter told us... More
