Great sushi. Very profesional. Actually one of the best Japaneese restaurants in Swiss for sure. In geneva it is the best. Do make a reservation in advance.

This is in my view one of the two best japanese restaurants in Geneva, the other one is Nagomi. The food is very genuine and tasty and fresh. The service is very efficient and the atmosphere is just fine. The prices are reasonable by this city's standards. It is good for every occasion, business, couple, etc.

I have been to Kakinuma numerous times ! This is a fine, traditional, high quality Japanese food. You must call few days in advance to get a table since this place is packed all year long. This is not cheap but this is a place not to miss. Congratulations to the owners

Kakinuma is certainly a fine restaurant for eating Japanese in Geneva. Very good tempura and sushi/sashimi, with nice atmosphere and good service. The menus are a good choice. Quite nice possibilities for Japanese beers. Strongly suggested for a business lunch/dinner and for a romantic escape. Booking suggested (but unfortunately no website available).

Kakinuma instantly became my favorite Geneva restaurant after visiting for the first time recently. It ticks all the boxes: great atmosphere, outstanding food and amazing service. The best Japanese food I've had the pleasure of trying. My only advice here would be to book well in advance. Even lunchtime bookings are normally full a day or two in advance.
