Do you like to watch the habits of other people, go here and meet the locals. Nice drinks, small snacks, chatting with the locals. Just go there and experience this.
Very expensive for uneatable food. No more presentable disges. Worse > fast food. For your apéro at the bar u pay a fortune and get the peanuts rests from the neighbor dish. Table set up like in a pizzeria, but you pay a high end restaurant price. Service personnel are OK! But is this enough?
We had our lunch last Sunday and enjoyed the Italian food, friendly and attentive service. Our friends from Singapore and Spain equally enjoyed their food and good wine. The lovely ice cream balls that ended our meal were excellent!
Went there for lunch at the recommendation of a business associate. A great 2 course lunch at CHF 19.50 was a bargain. The food was very good and the ambience very nice. An absolute recommendation
We really prefer the Lorenzini to many other restaurants in Berne. The lunchtime menues are almost always good, the price is right (CHF 19.50 for a starter and main course) and if not the menu there are plenty of other choices. The warm and bustling atmosphere, delicious smells as we entered the restaurant made us choose this restaurant for lunch. We whiled away our half hour of. On the ground floor there is a bar with a more limited snack menu, whereas on the first floor one is welcomed by the laughter and chatting of the diners enjoying good quality food since generations. The service is helpful and caters for business people as well as shoppers in the Old Town. Centrally located near the many sites it... More
One of the charms of a genuine Italian restaurant, of any category, is the possibilty to ask any simple thing and obtain it. Like a freshly squeezed lemon juice. At Lorenzini, do not dream about that. You have to follow the predefined rules and to pay. Lorenzini is a tipically Bernese restaurant, indeed. Just the menu is Italian. Pasta is... More
Never again I went in person to the Lorenzini to choose a table and order the apéro. My husband turned 55 and we wished a “tête à tête” at Lorenzini. It carried the memory of proposing during our dinner there 2 years ago. But ohohoh, two years can change a place. We arrived on time and stayed at the bar... More
