We were on our day trip in Assisi.... most eateries were not opened, although I did not bother to find out why. We were just very tired from the all the walking. We saw a sign that reads Pizzarella, and the menu outside shows that they serve Pasta too, so we were too happy to pop in, only to u-turn... More

In upper Assisi, restaurant furbished with warm colors and materials. One of the best dinner I ever had in my life! The owners are nice and they know how to guide you in choosing food and wine. Difficult to choose among all the delicious dishes listed, we started with a mix appetizer "ci pensiamo noi" with salami, truffle omelette, polenta... More

Did we hate it? Certainly not. Did we love it? Well... no. It was a meal that we ordered, we ate, and then left and promptly forgot. If you are looking for that Italian meal that will stay with you for years to come, well this just isn't it. It's a good meal. You can leave full and perhaps a... More

Dear girl from Naples, I'd like to respond to your review, but frankly I can not understand the meaning of his words. English is not my mother tongue but this time either way, (I speak discreetly), nor with the translator I was able to put together a logical discourse. However, I can tell you I remember you as you come... More

We went here only because this restaurante was categorized as "vegetarian" in Trip Advisor. There's nothing particularly vegetarian about it. You can order the usual Italian dishes without cheese, etc., but no much else. Our server spent most of her time on a computer in the back during our meal, apparently on Facebook. In sum, it's a typical Italian pub-type... More

As commented by others, we trusted tripadvisor and chose one of the (supposedly) top rstaurants in Assisi. Having tried another one much further down in the list, that however we truly enjoyed, we reckoned this would be surely even better. 1st impact is not good. The place appears as a poor level pub. Nevertheless we gave it a shot. Waiters... More

Dear Guys, I remember very well of you, because we see a lot of variety of people but I had never had to serve two people who ate the dish on the table are removing the paper place mat that serves to set the table, but this is a detail. The dishes that you eat from the first that you... More

Not knowing the city very well we have trusted Trip Advisor to find a place to eat in our one day trip to Assisi. We have called the first one in the list, but it was full and we have than decided to go to Enoteca Sanpietro. It was really a delusion. The place is very simple and with no... More

Dear Madam, Thanks for voicing your opinion and so you said you ate well, we are sorry not to have met your expectations, but we can not benefit from his opinion because we do not understand how simplicity can be a defect! The interior is simple , we wanted to meet our tastes and those of our valued customers who... More

We went there based on a recommendation from a nearby store owner and was thrilled to find TRUFFLES on the menu! We had the Truffle appetizer; I had the pennette with sausage and truffle (forget what wife had but it had truffles too) and these dishes were outstanding. On our last day there we stopped in and had lunch and... More

We specifically sought out Enoteca San Pietro while in Assisi based on the reviews on Trip Advisor and the classification of this restaurant as "vegetarian" which we are. Unfortunately, it is not a vegetarian restaurant and while there were options, not nearly what we had expected. The food was good but not exceptional, and the service wasn't as friendly as... More

The problem with Assisi restaurants is that they're expensive and the quality is dubious. Enoteca San Pietro bucks the trend with good local food at reasonable prices. The menu is varied - you can eat an enoteca/wine bar style snack or go for the full Umbrian meal - they do a set meal which is remarkable value. I ate there... More
